Made by Sandra Carmichael with Scribe

1. Click "Jobs"

2. Click "Add"

3. Click "Create a Job"

4. Click "Copy an Existing Job"

5. Click on the job template you would like to copy.

6. Click on Internal Job Name and remove EVERYTHING but the job title. In this example only the title, Community Manager should be left.

This is the job title that will be posted to the company career site.

7. Click on External Job Name and remove EVERYTHING but the job title. In this example only the title "Community Manager" should be left.

This is the job title that will be posted to the external/Indeed job board.

8. Click "Generate Requisition ID"

This will auto assign your req number.

9. Click the dropdown to select the Work Arrangement applicable.

10. Click the dropdown to select whether this is a Salary or Hourly range.

11. Click "Generate Opening IDs"

This will auto generate a opening ID for this req, allowing for 1 opening.

For example - your req will now read 204-1.

204 is the req number auto generated by Greenhouse and 1 is the number of openings for this req.

12. ONLY...

Only if you need to fill multiple positions for the req, you can do so by clicking the Add button and selecting the number of positions to be filled from the dropdown.

This allows you to create only 1 req but fill multiple openings.

For example if you need to fill 2 Maintenance Tech positions for the same property, you would use this option and your req would read 204-2.

204 is the req number auto generated by Greenhouse and 2 is the number of openings for this req.

NOTE: Once you create this option, it cannot be undone. If you did this by mistake, the only options is to delete and start over!

13. Click the dropdown to select if this is a backfill or new headcount.

14. Click this text field. Type in the employee name if the position is a backfill (replacing an employee) or type in NONE if this is new headcount.

15. Click the dropdown and select the RREM that will need to approve the req.

If you are an RREM, you will choose yourself.

16. To update the hiring manager for this req, click "Edit"

17. Select the Hiring Manager from the dropdown and hit save.

18. Click "Save"

19. Select the Recruiter field -  choose the approving RREM from the dropdown and hit save.

20. Click "Save"

21. A popup box will generate.

Click the boxes and hit "Save". This adds the RREM to the req and candidate in this job post.

22. Type "replace" and click "Save"

23. Click "Next"

24. Click "Skip"
We currently do not utilize this function, so skip it.

25. Click "Next"

26. Click "Next"

27. Click the company you are posting to from the dropdown.

28. Click on the property you are posting for.

NOTE: if you do not see the property in the dropdown, you will need to stop and save your post. You need to request the property be added to Greenhouse by sending a Teams or Email to recruiting with the property name, city and state.

Once it is confirmed the property is added, you can then open your draft and continue to complete the req request.

29. Click in the field and update the property name, city and state.

30. Click in the field to update the salary/hourly pay range.

31. When you have completed all your updates, click next.

32. Click "Finish"

33. Click "Request approval"

34. Step 1 - Approval Request will be sent to the RREM for approval.

Step 2 - after RREM approves the req, it will then automatically be sent to Recruiting for final review, approval to open, and approval recruit for the position.

Indeed and the career site postings will be launched.
