Typically changes to your benefit enrollments may only be done during Open Enrollment, however if you experience a Qualifying Life Event (QLE) you can submit changes within 30 days of the qualifying life event. Page 2 of the benefits guide has information on all the QLEs that are typically approved such as marriage, divorce, loss of coverage etc.
Please review the instructions below on submitting a QLE through UKG. Qualifying Life Events do require documentation to be submitted to HR for review and approval, you can send that in this email after submitting the QLE. For this case, any document from your other employer, insurance carrier, or notification of COBRA eligibility that contains the date the coverage was terminated would be sufficient.
